The closed meeting investigator is responsible for investigating complaints about the conduct of closed meetings of Council, Committee and local boards. The Village's closed meeting investigator is the Ontario Ombudsman.
In accordance with the Municipal Conflict of Interest Act, the Clerk maintains a Declaration of Pecuniary Interest Registry, which is a record of each time a member of Council declares an pecuniary interest at a Committee or Council meeting.
