Town Hall Sessions allow opportunities for residents to discuss with Council, matters that are important to them in an informal atmosphere.
The Town Hall Sessions will be an informal gathering with members of the public welcome to ask questions and provide comments or suggestions to Council. There is no formal Agenda. However, all participants (Council and the public) shall adhere to the following governing principles and meeting guidelines.
Governing Principles
- The Town Hall Sessions will maintain an inviting and inclusive atmosphere at all times.
- All participants will be treated with respect and courtesy.
- The sessions are being offered as an added opportunity for open and transparent conversation with the community.
Meeting
- The Sessions will occur quarterly each year (January, April, July and October) on the 4th Wednesday of the Month in the Council Chambers located at 110 Mains Street, Sundridge.
- The Town Hall Session will take place from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., prior to the regular scheduled Council Meeting.
- The meeting will be chaired by the Mayor or designate.
