CodeRED

The Village of Sundridge is offering CodeRED to their residents. CodeRED is a mass notification system that allows the Village to notify residents quickly in the event of an emergency and is used to provide general information that you need to know. The system allows the Village to deliver messages to you via phone, cell, text and email.

We encourage all residents to sign up, it is free and a great way to be aware of emergencies or general information in a timely manner. You can sign up online, or complete the enrolment form and staff at the Municipal Office will enrol on your behalf.

There are two types of calls or messages you may receive, emergency notifications or general notifications:

  1. CodeRED emergency message will have a caller ID of 1-866-419-5000.
  2. CodeRED general message will have a caller ID of 1-855-969-4636.

We suggest you program both numbers in your phones as a new contact.

What should I do if I receive a CodeRED message? Listen to or read the entire message carefully. You will have the option to repeat the message by pressing any key if received via phone. Do not call 911 for further information unless directed to do so or if you need immediate aid from the Police, Fire or EMS.

There is also a free CodeRED mobile alert app for iPhone or android subscribers, which will allow you to stay informed no matter where you are. When traveling, your CodeRED Mobile Alert app will notify you of any emergency situation if you are near a community using the CodeRED system. Download it now by going to your app store on your phone.

The Municipal Office staff are always here to assist you as well, please call anytime for support or information on CodeRED. We can be reached at 705-384-5316 Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
