Waste and Recycling

Changes are coming to the Ontario Blue Box System.

The last collection day of 2025 will be on December 31st.

Waste Connections will be picking up waste, residential and Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional recycling materials as per the current waste calendar and collection schedule.

Starting on Wednesday January 7th, 2026, the following collection will occur:

Waste Connections will be picking up waste and Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional recycling materials (blue box).

Emterra (the new provincially assigned collector) will be picking up all residential recycling materials, starting with blue box and alternating between fibres and blue box weekly after that.  

ALL recycling materials need to be out at the curb by 7 am.

Waste Collection is provided in the Village of Sundridge through Waste Connections. Waste Collection occurs every Wednesday for the entire Village. 

Recycling is sorted by fibers and containers and is picked up every Wednesday on an alternating weekly schedule.

Sundridge Residents can purchase a Landfill Access Card from the Township of Strong Municipal Office for $20.00.
